Cyclospora

Cyclospora is an infection that leads to diarrhoea. While it is not present in the UK, there is a possibility of contracting it when travelling to certain regions around the globe. The infection can be acquired by consuming contaminated food or drinking unsafe water, particularly if the food hasn't been properly cooked or washed with clean water. Cyclospora is a prevalent parasite in specific areas. It’s important to note that you cannot transmit it through close contact with an infected person.
