Colic
Colic refers to excessive crying in babies without a clear reason. This is a frequent issue that typically improves by the time they are 3 to 4 months old. However, if you have concerns, it's advisable to contact NHS 111 or consult a GP. While all babies cry, your little one might be experiencing colic if they cry for over 3 hours a day, on 3 or more days a week, for at least a week, yet remain otherwise healthy. They often tend to cry more in the late afternoon and evening. It might also indicate colic if, during these crying episodes:
