Carbon monoxide poisoning
Carbon monoxide is a harmful gas that can cause severe illness when inhaled. It is produced by fires and appliances that burn fuels such as gas, wood, oil, or coal. This gas is colourless and odourless, making it difficult to detect. Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning can vary; they might appear intermittently and often worsen when you are in a contaminated space, improving once you leave or go outdoors.
