About Mr Toby Page
Mr Toby Page is a renowned urological surgeon specialising in minimally invasive treatments for urological conditions. With extensive experience in using lasers for urological surgery, he specialises in procedures such as Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HOLEP), Urolift and management of male urinary symptoms as well as kidney surgery for benign and cancerous conditions. Mr Page has dedicated his career to providing the highest quality care to his patients. He performs laparoscopic nephrectomy for both benign and malignant conditions and is a high-volume surgeon in these procedures. Additionally, he is actively involved in the training of other professionals, serving as an honorary clinical lecturer at Newcastle University and was previously appointed as a surgical tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Page has a strong research background. His PhD in molecular genetics of kidney cancer has led to numerous publications and collaborations in national clinical trials on prostate treatment, kidney surgery and bladder cancer. He is the chief investigator for a multicentre UK trial of minimally invasive treatments for bladder outlet obstruction in men with enlarged prostates and is also the principal investigator for several national trials. He is committed to studying new technologies in urological surgery. He is one of the highest volume HoLEP surgeons in the UK and has mentored many surgeons in the procedure both from the UK and internationally. In addition, he is the associate editor of the BJUI knowledge section on BPH and LUT dysfunction as well as an invited speaker internationally for his experience in prostate and kidney surgery.
