About Mr Selvaraj Shanmuganathan

Mr Selvaraj Shanmuganathan is a highly-esteemed consultant cardiothoracic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. Mr Shanmuganathan is highly experienced in a wide range of procedures, including off pump coronary artery bypass grafts, minimally invasive mitral surgery, minimally invasive aortic surgery, robotic coronary artery surgery, atrial fibrillation surgery and full arterial revascularisation. He first qualified with an MBBS from the prestigious University of Madras, India in 1993. He currently practices at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He is also a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at Nottingham City Hospital, part of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
