About Mr Radwan Almousa
Mr Radwan Almousa is a highly skilled consultant ophthalmologist based in London. He specialises in refractive surgery, including the SMILE (small incision lenticule extraction) procedure, and ICL lens implant. His areas of expertise include treating cataracts, corneal problems, eyelid malposition, glaucoma and dry eye. Mr Almousa has trained and honed his skills around the world. He qualified from the University of Damascus, then he undertook basic ophthalmic training in Devon and Cornwall, before completing a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the National University Hospital in Singapore, well-known as one of he most prestigious teaching hospitals in the world. This was followed by a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital in London. Mr Almousa has a special interest in treating anterior segment disease and endeavours to provide the most modern treatments possible to help his patients' vision and reduce discomfort in the front of the eye. He was an early publisher on the use of the femtosecond laser in corneal grafting.
