Mr Noel Fisher is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, who specialises in foot and ankle surgery and knee replacement surgery. Mr Fisher’s private practice is exclusively at the Spire Regency Hospital, Macclesfield and his NHS practice is based at Macclesfield District General Hospital. He graduated from the University of Manchester in 1999 and completed his registrar training in Birmingham where he worked at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine and at the highly regarded Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, a centre of excellence in orthopaedic surgery in the United Kingdom. Mr Fisher had always been interested in teaching and training and was appointed as an honorary clinical lecturer at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham in 2009. Mr Fisher has presented his research nationally and internationally and has published at the highest level in numerous peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals. To date, Mr Fisher’s original publications has been cited in over 150 other original research papers. He has a specific interest in functional outcomes following orthopaedic operations. Mr Fisher is a member of various professional organisations including the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), British Medical Association (BMA) and the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS).
