Mr Kiran Singisetti is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in hip and knee surgery. He practises privately at Nuffield Health Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital and Spire Washington Hospital. His goal is to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to an active lifestyle through personalised, high-quality care. Mr Singisetti’s specialist areas include total hip and knee replacement, knee ligament reconstruction (including ACL), arthroscopic (keyhole) knee surgery and meniscal repair. He also treats sports-related injuries and degenerative joint conditions, offering both surgical and non-surgical solutions tailored to each patient. He has advanced experience in revision hip and knee replacement for complex and challenging cases, offering comprehensive care for both degenerative and traumatic lower limb conditions. After his orthopaedic training in the Northeast England, he completed advanced fellowships in hip and knee arthroplasty and trauma surgery at internationally renowned centres. His fellowships include the Cavendish Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship in Sheffield and the AO Trauma Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston (USA), as well as prestigious travelling fellowships in Toronto, New Delhi, and Hamburg. A committed educator and researcher, Mr Singisetti is the Surgical Tutor (overseeing training progress of all surgical trainees) for the NHS Trust, Faculty Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, an ATLS Instructor, and an examiner for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examination. He has presented his work at leading international conferences and published numerous research papers and book chapters in orthopaedics. Mr Singisetti is highly respected within the region and holds several key leadership positions, including Regional Surgical Ambassador for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Regional Specialty Professional Adviser for the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and Regional Clinical Coordinator for the National Joint Registry.
