About Mr Jagmeet Bhamra
Mr Jagmeet Bhamra is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon practising at The Blackheath Hospital and Berkshire Grove Hospital. He specialises in foot and ankle surgery, sports injuries, minimally invasive foot surgery, ankle arthroscopy, bunion surgery, tendon injuries, arthritic ankle replacement, and flatfoot reconstruction. Mr Bhamra qualified with honours from the University of Southampton in 2005 and undertook higher surgical training in London on the South East Thames Kings’/Guy’s and St Thomas’ rotations and the North West Thames Imperial rotation. He completed a research fellowship at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. These experiences honed his skills in bone tumour surgery, lower limb arthroplasty, and joint reconstruction. He has also completed nationally renowned BOFAS-accredited fellowships at Cambridge and Windsor, and was further awarded a BOFAS visiting fellowship to Germany, where he focused on paediatrics and complex deformity correction. Mr Bhamra has worked as a major trauma Cocnsultant specialising in complex trauma and limb reconstruction. Mr Bhamra has over 40 publications and contributions to research and actively participates in national research trials. He is postgraduate lead for education, and contributes to the training of future of orthopaedic surgeons.
