About Mr Ian Subak-Sharpe

Mr Ian Subak-Sharpe is a highly skilled consultant ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon based in North-East London. He specialises in cataracts, dry eye, watery eye, eyelid disorders and cosmetic eyelid surgery. After studying at Cambridge University and St George's Hospital Medical School, he went on to complete specialist ophthalmology training in London, including Moorfields Eye Hospital where he was senior resident. He undertook sub-specialty fellowship training in oculoplastic and lacrimal Surgery at Moorfields and a further fellowship in reconstructive and aesthetic eyelid surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital before becoming a consultant ophthalmologist. Through his NHS post, he is actively involved in the training of young cataract and oculoplastic surgeons. Mr Subak-Sharpe is known for his excellent patient care and takes great pride in having been asked to provide eye care for many doctors and optometrists in North East London.
