About Dr Anthony Li

Dr Anthony Li is a distinguished and honoured consultant cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist in the South London and Surrey areas. His focuses are treating a variety of heart rhythm issues, with expertise in ventricular arrhythmias, ectopic beats, and ventricular tachycardia. During his educational and training years, Dr Li was motivated, inspired, and succeeded with honours at every level. After his years in training, he made his way to prominent UCLA cardiac arrhythmia centre in Los Angeles to work with leaders in the field and learn innovative treatments and techniques. While in residency, Dr Li was part of a team that published the internationally recognised 'Journal of the American College of Cardiology for Electrophysiology' (JACC EP). After starting his consultation position at St George's Hospital in 2017, he established a new treatment at the facility for refractory ventricular tachycardia called neuromodulation. Efforts such as this have contributed to Dr Li's participation in the hospital. He is also involved in a highly specialised programme for ventricular arrhythmia management, where he and other doctors offer new therapies for complex arrhythmia cases. Dr Li is committed to his patients wholeheartedly; his dedication goes beyond the patient room. British Heart Foundation magazine 'Heart Matters', a valuable source for cardiac patients of all kinds, regularly has Dr Li featured. Additionally, British Heart Foundation leaflets, animations, illustrations, etc. are reviewed by Dr Li for patient content. In addition to St George's Hospital, London Bridge Hospital, and Spire St Anthony's Hospital, Dr Li holds clinics at Queen Mary's Hospital.
