Mr Ali Al-Sabti is a highly revered orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in general orthopaedic surgery and all types of shoulder surgery, in particular arthoscopic (keyhole) surgery. Mr Al-Sabti, who currently practices at the Brentwood-based Spire Hartswood Hospital and Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital as well as the Holly Private Hospital in Buckhurst Hill, treats patients in various clinics across North East London and has pioneered a "One Stop Shoulder Clinic" which can provide scans, diagnosis, and treatment all on the same day. He is happy to see patients with all shoulder conditions and injuries including sports injuries, as well as general orthopaedic cases. As Mr Al-Sabti's medical career has progressed, he has developed quite the interest in modern, innovative arthroscopic surgery procedures such as the arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction following serious and traumatic sports-related injuries. He also possesses expertise and a special interest in shoulder surgery in athletes, tennis/golfer's elbow as well as carpal tunnel syndrome. Mr Al-Sabti completed his medical training in Cairo and attained his FRCS from Edinburgh in 1983. He then went on to complete his postgraduate training in London in 1987 and became an orthopaedic surgeon in Harold Wood Hospital and Oldchurch Hospital. In addition to running a busy clinical practice, Mr Al-Sabti keeps up to date with the most recent developments in the field of shoulder surgery, attending various international courses in America and Europe.
