Hypothermia
Hypothermia occurs when the body temperature falls below 35°C, which is considered dangerously low (normal body temperature is typically around 37°C). This condition is a medical emergency that requires hospital treatment. It is important not to drive yourself to A&E; instead, have someone else take you or call 999 for an ambulance. If you suspect someone has hypothermia, there are steps you can take while waiting for medical assistance. First, move the person indoors or to a sheltered area as quickly as possible.
