Croup

Croup is a frequent condition that primarily impacts the airways of infants and young children. While it is generally mild, it is essential to contact NHS 111 or visit a GP if you suspect your child has croup, as they may require treatment. Initially, your child will likely display symptoms similar to a cold, including a fever, runny nose, and cough. The symptoms of croup typically develop after a few days and tend to worsen at night. You may notice a runny nose, sneezing, cough, and an elevated temperature.
